Richard T. Porter, P.E. represents NH at National Conference

Richard T. Porter, P.E. represented the local NH Geo-Institute Chapter at the American Society of Civil Engineers national Geo-Institute summit held in St. Louis in July 2011.  

The summit brought together over a hundred geo-professionals from all across the nation. During the summit, participants formed multiple task forces and spent much time and energy discussing existing programs and brainstorming new ideas. Topics discussed include:

• Increasing membership through growing local G-I chapters.

• Improving member benefits.

• Increasing collaboration between local G-I chapters

• Website development

• Increasing student participation
