Helical Pile Anchors New England

Serving Massachusetts and New Hampshire

Helical pile anchors for Bay Bridge reconstruction project located in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. The project was close to a densely populated neighborhood, requiring minimal vibrations during pile installations.

Helical pile anchors provide cost-effective solutions to supporting buildings over poor soil conditions.  Helical piers are ideal for projects where noise and vibrations are construction considerations, especially for sites located within heavily populated areas. Helical piers produce so little vibration that they can be safely installed adjacent to existing foundations without concern.

Common applications for helical pile anchors include:

  • Deep Foundation Support for New Construction:  Foundation projects can be stalled when poor soils conditions are unexpectedly discovered.  Helical piers can be an economical solution to providing deep foundation support over unsuitable soils.
  • Foundation Underpinning: Helical piles can provide support for existing foundations built over poor soil conditions.  The technology can also be used to support a foundation while contaminated soils are dug out from underneath during an environmental remediation projects.
  • Helical Tiebacks for Earth Support: Helical piles work very well for providing earth support for both temporary and permanent retaining walls, including marine bulkheads, soldier pile walls, soil nail walls, and sheet pile walls as well.
  • Environmental Boardwalk Support:  Boardwalks construction can be supported by helical piers in environmentally sensitive areas.   Even during construction, helical piers minimally impact the surrounding areas and are also made of recycled steel as well.
