With countless acres of wetlands destroyed in our country over the last hundred years, conservation of these sensitive areas remains vital to the survival of our ecological system.
To that end, Helical Pier technology provides an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional construction methods. Environmental walkways, or boardwalks, can be constructed within these sensitive areas, supported on helical anchors. Typically, a three-man crew will use handheld equipment to install the helical piles with minimal disturbance to the surrounding wetland area. After the helical piles are installed, they are fitted with U-shaped walkway brackets, which accept timber framing to build the walkway upon.
