Settling Foundation Repair | Resistance Piers

Start of Process: The foundation is exposed and the footing chipped flush with the wall to allow for a bracket installation.

The driving assembly is attached and the first pier section hydraulically driven into the ground.

Further sections are added and the assembly is advanced to a strong end-bearing soil/rock stratum.

Resistance Piers are used to stabilize foundations built over poor soils This piling technology is unique in that it utilizes the weight of the existing structure to advance a piling into the ground. When dealing with very heavy buildings, resistance piers can develop design strengths in excess of 100,000lbs each.
