Sliplining is a trenchless pipe rehabilitation technology that repairs buried water, sewer, and gas lines. Traditionally, contractors would have to dig down to access the buried lines. This excavation would grealty impact the surrounding areas, especially when the lines are underneath a busy road. Today, a smaller pipe can be slid inside the existing one, avoiding a lot of excavation work.
Slipline Grouting involves injecting a specialty grout between the older (and larger) pipe and the smaller one inserted inside. Slipline grout can effectively travel a great distance and help seal the annular space with a structural mixture.
